Billy W. Matthews age 83, of Midlothian, Texas passed away on September 3, 2017 in Ennis, Texas. He was born on October 26, 1933 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Elvis William Matthews and Mandy Anderson Matthews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Carol Matthews.
Mr. Matthews served his country in the United States Army. He retired after many years of dedicated service to Dallas Power and Light Company. He dearly loved his two sons and their families and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his sons, Michael W. Matthews and Patrick R. Matthews; one brother Ray Don Matthews; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
