The Athens Police Department is currently seeking George Henry Whitehead for failing to register as a sex offender. Whitehead is a black male, 66 years of age, approximately 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 220 pounds. Whitehead has failed to report but is believed to be in the Athens area.
