We are deeply saddened by the loss of our HCJC/TVCC colleague and friend Connie (CJ) Russell who passed away on Friday, July 22.
CJ was a teacher, a Hall of Fame Cheerleader coach, a mentor and a friend that made a positive impact on the lives of thousands of students and their families. Her passion was coaching the Cardinal Cheerleaders which she lead to five NCAA National Championships.
She loved HCJC/TVCC and it was shown through her dedication, support, and contributions to the college and its students. Her legacy will live on forever in the cheer world, TVCC, and through her students.
A Celebration of Life for CJ will be held Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 3-4 pm at the Trinity Valley Community College Auditorium. Contributions can be directed to the TVCC Foundation Office in memory of Connie Russell.
